About the Item
77101, a surrealist style tapestry after Joan Miro's 'Femme et Oiseaux' Woman and Birds, 1966. The painting was the last of a series the artist completed in Barcelona just after the Nazi occupation of France. Miro used his painted to escape from the perils of World War II painting in an abstract style; evoking tribal symbols equating with motherhood and women. This unique tapestry after Joan Miro is composed of bold, black curvilinear shapes resembling an owl, accented in poppy, saffron, lavender, cerulean and peach. The tapestry will add an artistic flair of Surrealism to any industrial loft or living space.
