About the Item
19th century very rare Holmes county Ohio Amish hole in the barn door quilt. This early and very rare all cotton quilt has a cheddar backing and very interesting color combo. The condition is pristine. This fine quilted quilt is dated 1890 in two corners right outside of the inside borders. This chocolate brown back round is usually only found in the very early Amish quilts.
