Woven by hand, cut, patched and embroidered, Baratillo’s mystique comes from its elaborate and intensive construction process. Named for the infamous “smuggler’s market” in Peru, its extraordinary heft and complexity give it the markings of a rare and treasured find.
Embroidery is placed 14″ apart. Due to the pattern’s unique construction, a small horizontal seam occurs within the panels in a half-dropped formation every 53″. Measurements may shift slightly as this is a handwoven product.
