Title: Vintage Italian Versace fan scarf irish linen pillow pink green Description: Large custom made luxury cushion created from an exquisite vintage Versace fashion scarf in a striking print. The delicate fans are elaborately decorated in antique gold and have dainty ribbons and tassels draped around their central space. Set upon a chequered patchwork pattern. The ‘Gianni Versace’ signature adorns one of its corners in a barbie pink embroidered thread. As an extra detail of its luxury finish, across the material is a subtle foulard weave repeating across the surface in a raised texture, this is especially notable when caught by the light. The flamboyant Italian fashion house was founded by Gianni Versace in 1978 and is known for their flashy prints and bright colors, as in this bold example. The fabric was personally hand-picked by Katie at antiques market ‘Marche aux Puces Saint-Ouen’ on the outskirts of Paris. On a sumptuous cotton soft to the touch. Backed in new 100% pure Irish linen, the aristocrat of textiles and certified by the Irish Linen Guild, lined in a layer of natural bamboo cloth, filled with new custom-made plush duck feather insert and a concealed zip.
