Late 17th early 18th century Upon very fine quality Magenta antique Silk Velvet Finished with 17th Century Florentine Metallic gold tassel trim and antique gold metallic braid Backed with antique silk brocade The Heraldic shield depicts a Regal Coronet above Gold and silk embroidered Family Crest upon Crimson silk velvet within a beautiful hand embroidered frame worked entirely in gold and silver metallic threads Beautiful faded , time worn patina throughout with appropriate signs of wear commensurate with immense age Some surface marks / wear / losses to velvet and cream silk on Crest, The metallic threads have taken on a darker time worn antique patina over the centuries Please study photographs as they do form a very important part of the description SIZE 21 inches x 15 inches (53cm x38cm) LAYAWAY AVAILABLE S3849
