Pair of curtains and its valance surmounted by a gilded moulded wood banister. The curtains are made of red brocade fabric with decorations of vases overflowing with flowers in rhombus-shaped vegetal friezes. The valance with scalloped edge is made of the same fabric. The banister is carved with a moving decoration with masks of bearded men crowned with feathers in the centre and in the corners and a vegetal ornamentation of acanthus leaves, friezes of flowers and stripes of ovals. The curtains are attached with metal hooks and the valance is attached to the banister with velcro. The curtains have been custom made to match this early 20th century gilded wood railing.
