Mid-century modern Trompe l'oeil gilt metal umbrella stand or waste basket produced by Li Puma Florence. The Hollywood regency stand features a gilt geometric lattice round form decorated with faux rope ending with large tassels. Strong and sturdy versatile piece that could also serve as a waste paper basket. The gilt has an aged patina on the finish as seen in photos to mimic age. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
