Antique Cast Aluminum Milliner or Ladies Industrial Hat Form

About the Item

This antique ladies hat form does have a maker's impressed mark, but has become obliterated such that it is largely unidentifiable, but we presume it originates from the United States and dates to approximately 1920. This period Art Deco styled milliner's hat form is composed of a very thick cast aluminum and was used with steam to form a ladies felt hat. The form as stated above does have an illegible maker's mark and several model numbers on both the outside and inside of the casting. The casting shows its original aged patina, but could be polished to a shiny aluminum finish if desired.
