Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller Plywood Folding Screen Ash Veneer 1950s
Located in Cathedral City, CA
This is an iconic piece of American design history, designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1946, for Herman Miller. This example is one of the earlier versions produced between 1946-1955. The veneer is a warm ash. The connecting fabric is a cotton canvas and allows for the screen to bend in a multitude of ways producing a screen in a variant of formations and also allows the screen to fold nearly flat for storage or shipping. A true classic!
We have included several detail photos so you can get a true picture of condition, As is common with these older screens...

Vintage Mid-Century Modern Faux Wood Grain Laminate Room Divider or Planter
Located in Topeka, KS
Wonderful vintage Mid-Century Modern faux wood grain laminate room divider or planter, Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. A new bottom has been added and painted black. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, 1950-1960’s.
Well, Well, Well…. What do we have here??? A planter? Yes! A room divider? Also, Yes!! A unique piece of Mid-Century Modern furniture full of fabulousness? ABSOLUTELY, YES!!! Ok, if you have a green thumb and prefer to use live plants in the box, you will need to have a liner made for it, but that would be fairly simple. But, just as it is, there are still many options… Obviously it would house silk or faux plants...
