Dark green hand forged and gilt iron decorative room divider /rolling screen

About the Item

A  unique and decorative French 1940's hand forged dark bottle green iron and hand coiled gilt iron room divider, rolling screen reflecting a blend of craftsmanship and artistic expression. The screen which can act as a decorative accent as well as a functional object has scroll motifs forming diamond and floral patterned clusters, portraying a level of intricate design and attention to detail. Additionally, the use of the hand work of the warmly patined gilt iron coils suggest a slight touch of luxury. While the screen exhibits signs of age and use, it's condition remains true to its vintage charm.  The true color is hard to capture in the photos, but it is a very dark bottle green hue. This versatile screen can be used in any room setting, eg: Country French, Traditional, Italian design, Mid century, Art Deco, Rustic, Art and Crafts, Modern, Mediterranean, Folk art...   Japanese screen, Chinese screen, Planter, accent screen.
