19th Century French Hand Painted Arched Four-Panel Folding Screen

About the Item

Decorate a dining or living room's wall with this elegant and colorful antique screen. Crafted in France circa 1880, the four-panel folding screen, is hand-painted with an elaborate floral still life. Each panel features a seamless continuation of the artwork, depicting a vibrant bouquet of multicolored flowers, including roses and other blooms, arranged in a golden urn. The background transitions from earthy tones at the base to a soft, atmospheric sky above, enhancing the depth and realism of the piece. The scalloped top edges of the panels are bordered with intricate detailing, fabric trim, adding a touch of refinement.
