A miniature cast iron linen press with Schildkröt doll, 1890-1900
An antique miniature mangle linen press, circa 1890-1900, made of cast iron with 2 wooden shelves and wooden rollers. The linen press is working, rotating on the wheel with springs at the top on a cast iron base with a beautiful Art Nouveau design and lion's head, each side of the base. The doll is marked with the Schildkröt, Germany logo (turtle logo) She has working sleeping eyes and has a leather body (doll has defects on the feet). The doll has a working sound in the back when rotating. Approx. 1900
The linen press is 47 cm high, 32 cm wide and 18 cm deep.
The doll is 48 cm high.
