View AllLarge 1930s Ford Tin Goose Tri-Motor Airplane Model
Located in Peekskill, NY
This is a large delicate tin model made around the same time the real Tin Goose was flying. The wingspan is an impressive 40 inches. The wheels are rubber and the 4 part windshield is glass. I'm surprised the model survived in such nice and complete condition for about 90 years. We had a custom display stand made for it that brings it to another level.
Between 1926 and 1933 some 200 Trimotors were built in Ford's own factory. Corrugated metal on great thick monoplane wings was a German development, used in Junker JU-52 planes that were flying the Berlin-Rome-London route. Trimotors were flown by airlines, oil companies and wealthy individuals. The Ford Trimotor...

Vintage Free Wheeling Green Lithographed All Tin Racing Car. French, Circa 1930
Located in Incline Village, NV
Circa 1930's free wheeling green lithographed all tin racing car, with attached pressed steel driver; it is probably of French manufacturer (the only time I have seen for sale was from a French toy dealer). This scarce toy has markings resembling early racing cars with the streamlined style graphics in yellow and green; standard grill; exhaust four manifolds to each side, and a spare tire attached to the rear; looks like an early Le Mans type car with the spare (see images). Other markings include the number "3:" on each side; "510 x 1" on the rear tire"; and probably the makers mark and logo, which I can't identify, on the top right behind the driver (see images).
Not being a wind-up or a friction toy, this racing car was pushed across the floor by hand or/and used as an accessory in a toy train layout...

Decorative Model Car - Art Deco Race Car - Man Cave Collectible
A highly detailed, extremely attractive model of a classic racecar, replica of the miniature-engine scale models used for "arena racing" in the 1930s, and especially at the New York World Fair of 1939.
Crafted with a metal body and wooden chassis, the not-so-little car is an ideal decorative piece for any car enthusiast, and can find its spotlight on a coffee table, bookshelf, or in your special mancave.
It has spoke wheels, functional steering and an opening bonnet that shows a faithful reproduction of the original engines fitted in yesteryears' racing models...
