Edwardian Hunting Whip With Gold Mounts
About the Item
Edwardian Hunting Riding Whip, Riding Crop, Antler Handle.
An old stag horn handled riding crop made by Callow, 17 Mount St, London. The hunting crop shaft is covered with braided leather with gold mounts. Engraved AH, IPING.
It has a 'Callow' button on the handle and has a stitched leather keeper with leather pleated thong, thong length 186 cm.
The two gold collars stamped and hallmarked 'CALLOW, T & C Sn, 15, .625, n, leopard's head', goldsmiths Thomas Callow & Son, London, 15 carat gold, 1908.
