Army and Navy Brass Salmon Fishing Reel.
A very good 4 ¾ inch brass salmon fishing reel by the Army & Navy Stores, London. The reel with raise housing, brass foot, smooth check and ebonised handle. The back plate engraved 'A&N C.S.L, Makers, London, 105 Victoria St. Westminster'. The reel is 3¼" deep with handle.
The Army & Navy Club Store membership was only open to those with a military or official connection such as an officer or non commissioned officer in the Army or Navy, their immediate relatives, secretaries of military clubs or messes, peers etc.
