Whomever created this work of beauty must have been at the top of their game, because the execution is just as wonderful and amazing as the design. The Gothic church window-like panels with the symbolic trefoils are as perfect and symmetrical as they can be and for them to be all hand-carved out of the most beautiful nutwood makes them even more impressive. The Gothic church spikes on all corners with the turned columns below are just some of the other impressive carvings that make this antique stand out from anything you ever saw. Only the back panel of the church-like niche below the table top is made of solid oak. The rest of this piece is made of solid walnut and, as you can see in our images, you will hardly ever find an antique with a more beautiful patina. The practical size of this Gothic church relic makes it suitable for use at home as well. Constructed the way it is, this marvelous architectural Gothic pedestal is strong enough to hold a larger sculpture as well.
