1917 Waymouth Cooke Naval Rangefinder Sextant

About the Item

Naval range finder made by Waymouth-Cooke of London. These were based on the principals of a sextant range finder. They were patented in 1914. The Mark II like this one came out in 1917. The dimensions listed are for the case. This has two small wrenches for adjusting the dial. There is one other rod in the case of an undetermined use, but is original to the set. There is wear to the paint and scratches. There is some spots of oxidation to the dial.
