1963 Chrysler Concept Turbine Car Promotional Model with Box
About the Item
Chrysler promotional model of Elwood Engel designed turbine concept car. Vehicle did go to limited production of fifty five units. The bodies were built by Ghia in Turin Italy shipped to the U.S. for final assembly in Detroit. After brief testing with the general public the cars were reclaimed by Chrysler. All but nine were later destroyed.
