Rare Singer Model 24 Chain Stitch Small Sewing Machine

About the Item

This is a rare Singer Model 24 chain stitch small sewing machine. Its background is painted black and adorned with red and white foliages decal. A gold color metal oval plaque identify it as the Singer Manufacturing Company trademark. This Singer Model 24 was very popular with hat and lace makers. The sewing machine is supported by a rectangular wood base. The serial number of this one is B1205316 and it was made in Elizabeth, New Yersey.
