18th Century Palanquin for Child

About the Item

18th century Palanquin. A child used this palanquin, an enclosed chair carried on the shoulders of four or more people supported by two long poles that fit on sides. The palanquin was used for important people and was decorated with three windows so the crowds could view the passenger.
