Pair of 70s Italian Nightstands made in Plywood Bamboo, Cane & Woven Rattan
About the Item
I am offering for sale a pair of vintage nightstands made in Italy dating back to the mid-70s and 80s.
Both equipped with a drawer and a lower shelf, they have an essential, stable and solid structure in fir wood, plywood and thick bamboo canes that trace the lines of their perimeter.
Thinner sections of canes frame wooden surfaces covered in woven rattan which act as shelves and create the only closed compartment, the drawer.
We subjected the bedside tables to a deep cleaning and polished them with a protective product that preserves their patina.
The bedside tables are therefore in original vintage conditions with what this entails: minimal signs of use and age are visible, as highlighted in the photos.
A stain that slightly darkens the color of the woven rattan top is visible on one of the bedside table shelves.
