French Art Déco Walnut Bed King Size, circa 1930

About the Item

French bed made circa 1930, in the art deco period and style. The bedside cabinets are integrated into the headboard: each is covered with a mirror and contains a drawer and a small cupboard. The knobs are in bronze. As you can see on the last photo, our cabinetmaker lengthened the bedsides to fit a king-size bed. The king-size bedding can be placed on the bed's side rails (bedding 76 x 80 in. or 193 x 203 cm). Very characterful Good antique condition with signs of use sound and solid.
