19th Century Bed in the Renaissance Style

About the Item

This Antique Italian Renaissance Revival Bed is a stunning example of Italian EU King Bed , with intricate carvings of a Putti Cherub to Headboard and Floorboard with Floral Bouquets, in a dark Mahogany veneer finish. Crafted in Italy in Circa 1820, this bed has a rectangular shape and measures 200cm in length, 160cm in width, suitable for an EU King size mattress. The Headboard stands at 162cm, with the footboard measuring 90 cm. This original Italian bed is an a Fabulous Hand Carved Antique, a very Unique and rare find that will add character to any bedroom. It requires assembly and will require a sommier/ slat bed base. these can be purchased online or a divan base can be use inside the frame. This is a unique piece of furniture and a must-have for lovers of Renaissance style. The external bed measurements to the widest point are 177 cm x 214cm Condition Report Beautiful Hand Carved Walnut -Any evidence of previous furniture beetle has been treated as a precautionary measure.
