Venetian Mirror With Etched Decorated Panels for Restoration
About the Item
A large and impressive Venetian mirror with superb form and etched design. Please study the detail photos as there are flower petal, pin, and other losses that we are recommending restoration for although the mirror still presents in an elaborate and commanding manner. With an elaborate shaped crest with etched urn and foliate scrolls in the center, the sides with floral sprays. The elongated octagonal bands below with matching etched floral sprays. The framing bands with three-dimensional flowers and a shaped terminal.
The Mirror measures H. 51", W. 33", Depth 1"
Condition: Please see detail photos. Restoration recommended due to losses. The left side of crest with a loss on the outer band, right side of crest with loss to one tiny floral pin head, terminal with loss to two tiny floral pin heads, otherwise good condition and elegant in presentation.
