Unique Circular Shaped Mirror with Great Side Profile with Projection from Wall
About the Item
This custom mirror has been creatively up-cycled with an old N. African wooden cooking utensil as the surround, with new mirrored glass in it's center. This mirror features a circular-shaped mirror, within a round-shaped wooden frame from N. Africa, which once would have been used in cooking, to hold a pot within it's center. The sides of the mirror project out from the wall at over 5" and overhang an inset octagonal skirt (from it's prior use as a pot stand) with lovely scalloped carvings, giving this piece visual interest when viewed from it's sides. The wood has a nice rich patina and show of use, and some areas of cracking. This custom mirror will make a great conversational piece with nice texture and depth!
