About the Item
Exceptional large carved Black Forest Wall Mirror from the late 19th century around 1880 in Austria. This beautiful rustic Black Forest mirror has been elaborately hand crafted out of basswood and comes with an almost black varnished surface. Framed by additional slim bars on the outside, the main frame has been artfully hand carved in the manner of a tree branches. A real fantastic masterpiece of these currently very popular Black Forest mirrors, coming in perfect restored condition.
