19th Century French Hand Painted Trumeau Mirror in Giltwood Frame

About the Item

Elegant antique trumeau from France crafted circa 1850, the wall hanging mirror features a hand painted pastoral scene on canvas with fishermen and farmhouse in the background. The painting is set in the original carved giltwood frame embellished by the original mercury glass. Excellent condition with rich patinated gold leaf finish on the frame, and wood backing. Measures: 29" W x 53" H.
