20th Century American Federal Giltwood Overmantel Mirror.
This American Federal antique mirror dates to the 20th Century. The symmetrical giltwood frame is rectangular in form and perfectly balanced with elegant egg and dart embellishment around the mirror frame and column elements on each side. The entablature is decorated with repeated gilt spheres.
Overall condition is good. Mirror glass is very good. Wear due to age and use. One minor chip in the application.
