About the Item
Gorgeoys table lamp in plum colored lucite and brass completed by a white fabric lampshade. This elegant and unique lamp was produced in Italy during the 1970s and its design is attributed to Willy Rizzo.
In fantastic condition, with no chips or cracks. The body of this table lamp is made in a charming plum colored lucite which will change color depending on the light and viewing angle. The lamp is enhanced by a square base in solid golden brass and by a brass rim on the top. The effect and the light reflection when lit is breathtaking.
The contrast between the plum lucite and the brass makes this table lamp extremely elegant and unique.
The lamp is wired and tested, compatible with both US and EU/UK standards, it uses two E26/27 light bulbs.
This lamp is a magnificent example of the elegant and sophisticated style of Willy Rizzo and the use of lucite and brass, iconic materials of the 1970s, is characteristic of Italian design from that era, known for its ability to combine timeless elegance and functionality.
