Vintage Italian Brass Rooster Table Lamp on Old Iron Circular Base
About the Item
An Italian vintage brass rooster table lamp on old iron base. This beautiful Italian lamp is made of a brass rooster with an incredible plumage. The rooster has one foot raised, his head thrust forward and his wings are raised as he appears ready to defend his brood from a fox or a weasel. This circa 1950 English rooster lamp has recently been rewired for the American market and is ready to be plugged. The height of this lamp is 23.5 inches to the top of the socket, and it sits on a solid 6 inches diameter base. From the head to tail, the measurements are 20 inches and from wing to wing, 12 inches. It would make a wonderful addition to a dining room, a sporting room or possibly in a den.
