Very large heavy German Mid Century table lamp made of brass and with huge shade

About the Item

Very large, heavy Mid Century modern table lamp. Made in Germany. Made in the early 1950s. Very solid and built to last. Base and neck are made of brass. The huge shade with a diameter of 40 cm is made of copper. The neck can be swiveled forwards and backwards. The shade can be moved in all directions. All joints hold in any position. Base has an iron plate inside for a stable hold. Beautiful minimalist design from the 1950s. Very good vintage condition with no damage to the entire lamp. No bumps, dents or scratches on the shade and base. With a beautiful patina. A few scratches on the inside of the shade. Must have been caused by the shade rotating. It is screwed to the frame. You can see this clearly in the photos. One E27 original brass socket. 100% original condition and fully functional. Rewired due to age. Works with 110 and 220V and suitable for all countries. Fits any interior style. Suitable for all living areas and very decorative. This lamp stood on a tax consultant's desk for 50 years.
