This truly wonderful lamp from the German or Austrian Arts & Crafts era comes with a gorgeous bronze sculpture of a mother grooming her baby chimp. This sculpture is perfectly centered underneath the stunning lampshade and in the middle of the strong and stylish marble base. This marble base also comes with a perfect 'vide poche' and a surface that is polished to perfection. Another great feature ofcourse is the lampshade with its unique beaded glass patterns and striking colors. This combination of artforms AND top quality materials give this mother-nature / wildlife inspired work of lighting art its truly unique look and feel. This particularly graceful and serene table lamp with its beautiful patina is in excellent condition and in good working order. It radiates exactly the right amount of light to create the perfect atmosphere on your piano, side table, end table, desk etc.
