Rustic Chinese Terracotta Jar Lamp
About the Item
White painted, grey green terracotta lamp base made from rustic vintage Chinese clay jars used for wine storage. The lamp is hand made and was not intended for decorative use. The jar is somewhat misshapen, again because these jars in general had strictly utilitarian purposes but the irregularity adding character and charm to the lamp. A second similar lamp is available.
En relief bands circle the top of the jar. The lamp is wired for US electrical use. The bulb socket is euro type so will require euro style lamp shades. Socket will need to be changed if US style shades are used. If needed we can change it out for you. Lamp and shade can be sold separately. Lamp shades: $300 each.
Lamp is 9" D x 18" H to top of the socket -- 14" to top of the urn
