About the Item

This pair of refined modernist table lamps were hand blown in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. It features smoked glass volumetric rectangular forms- offering a subtle transparency- stacked to create a composition that is uniquely compelling and dynamic. They come fitted with cubic polished chrome finials (and chrome fittings throughout) that provide a striking material and tonal counterpoint to the smoked glass. With their clean modernist lines, sophisticated color palate and beautiful artisanal glass quality, these table lamps are as versatile as they are aesthetically pleasing, blending perfectly with any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent condition. They have the substantial heft that one expects of luxury objects of this quality.
