Pair of Large Cast Bronze Chinese Figurine Desk Lamps James Mont attr.
About the Item
Stunning pair of large cast bronze lamps in the manner of James Mont. Made in Belgium circa 1960s.
Very decorative large lamps showing some lovely natural oxidation patina to the bronze.
Each lamp depicts ancient Chinese historical figures, possibly representing the 3 kingdoms (Guan Yu era).
The lamps also have tiger head handle bars on each sides, useful for when lifting as they are quite heavy at over 10kg each.
Both lamps show different images at the front and back.
Set on black lacquered wooden bases.
The extendable stems are of brass, with double bulbs carrier and brass
The brass fitting is polished and clean.
Offered here without lampshades .
Uses E27 bulbs.
Recently rewired to modern safety standards.
