Pair of Haeger Volcanic Glaze Olive Green Cermaic Lamps Maria Kipp Shades Italy

About the Item

These lamps were made over half a century ago and feature a holy combination: a wonderful pair of Haeger lamp bases, made in Itlay by skilled craftsmen. These bases are made of fired ceramic, the glazed with an olive green glaze, which was agitated before the second round of firing in order to acheive the volcanic effect you see in these. They have a depth, compared to shiny glaze, that pairs super well with the rare Maria Kipp lamp shades. Weaved of differnet fabrics around a frame of metal and hundreds of thin metal rods, their texture pairs super nice with the bases, making for a pair of special and hard to come by lamps. In good vintage and original condition. Normal wear expected of these lamps, and especially the shades, which have minor flaws. Still towards the top end of the shades available. No stains. Dimensions: Overall: 41" H x 15.5" DIA Bases, from bottom to end of green ceramic: 20.5" H x 6" DIA Shades: 20" H Taper from 14.5" at the top to 15.5" at the bottom
