Pair of French Turn of the Century Louis XVI St. Ormolu and Crystal Lamps
About the Item
An exceptional pair of French turn of the century Louis XVI st. ormolu and crystal lamps. Each two arm lamp is raised by a square base with fine topie shaped feet adorned with beautiful palmette elements centering a charming wave like plaque at the front. At the center are the the striking cylinder shaped crystal bodies with superb thick diamond shaped cuts encased by lovely beaded and interlocking wrap around bands. The two arms above display a most charming scrolled foliate design adorned with finely detailed leaves and graceful crystal pendants leading to richly chased floral candle cups and centering a wonderful crystal flower growing at the center.
