Pair of French 19th Century Renaissance St. Bronze Urns Mounted into Lamps

About the Item

A remarkable pair of French 19th century Renaissance st. patinated bronze, Rosso Levanto, and black Belgian marble lamps. Each lamp is raised by a black Belgium marble base with fine ormolu ball feet below the beautiful circular Rosso Levanto support. The urns above are raised by socle shaped pedestal supports with fine foliate designs while the bodies display exceptional attention to detail with charming putti harvesting wine, sitting on barrels, and riding a goat while drinking wine. Richly chased grape leaves extend along the tops with large most impressive winged dragon handles at each side. All original patina throughout.
