About the Item

A most elegant pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. porcelain and ormolu Pâte sur Pâte lamps. Each lamp is raised by a fine ormolu base with most decorative scrolled foliate feet and a lovely hammered design. Above the base are tied fluted bands and unique scalloped shapes. The beautiful bodies display charming and most decorative Pâte sur Pâte central floral designs, mottled ormolu bands at the slender neck and fine ormolu top caps.
