This original vintage table light was designed and produced in the 1950s in Austria. The super rare and Minimalist V form stand element is made of brass. The light features its original tube shade, in its authentic vintage condition. The light has a total height of 45,5cm. The light has a switch directly on the cord. Straightforward and minimalistic design of the 1950s. This item is a wonderful addition to every modern home. The design is reminiscent with the design of Hagenauer, Auböck, Kalmar etc...

Condition:
This item is in its original vintage condition with normal age related traces of use and a wonderful patina on the brass base of over 60 years. The shade has several lacquer imperfections, sign and wear inside and outside, several little rusty spots, 100 percent authentic and original. please see images. Full working condition. The electrification was renewed.

A gorgeous and rare table lamp model 'Phönix' (engl. 'Phoenix') no. 1197 by J.T. Kalmar, Vienna, manufactured in midcentury, circa 1960 (late 1950s or 1960s).
The light is documented in the Kalmar catalogue from 1953 as well as 1960.
It is made of a solid brass stand and a walnut handle. The fixture has a socket for a medium or standard screw base light bulb. It is rewired and the lampshade is renewed.
It is in very good condition with little patina on brass and ready to use.
