About the Item

This unique and well proportioned Mid-Century Modernist Sculptural Balustrade Form Table Lamp in Carrera Marble W/ Gilt Base originates from Italy, Circa 1960. Features a lovely silhouette of elegantly curved lines and detailing composed of stacked Carrera Marble elements that compose the body of the lamp, carefully sculpted and resembling milled Balustrade detailing. This piece has a ascending presence, particularly assisted by the expansive disk in the center of the lamp's body, delineating the upper and lower sections of the piece and giving a bold radial contrast to this vertically oriented table lamp. With solid natural materials and gorgeous execution, this Lamp will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. Newly Rewired to American standards, accommodating one Edison base light bulb achieving up to 100 watts of light. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
