Mid-Century Modernist Black Glazed Ceramic Lamp with Chrome Base

About the Item

This beautiful Mid-Century Modern ceramic lamp was realized in the United States, circa 1960. It features an organic protuberant form finished in a lustrous black glaze that extends upwards from a chrome base. Elegant, whimsical and dramatic, this lamp would serve as an ideal accent piece to any room. With its monochromatic palate and clean modernist lines, it would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. The fixture has been completely rewired and is in excellent condition. Dimensions: 34" height X 12" diameter America, 20th century.
