Large Antique Oriental Ceramic Table Lamp
About the Item
A stunning and very impressive large antique oriental ceramic table lamp. We can’t work out if it’s Chinese or Japanese. It dates from the late 19th century and was likely converted into a lamp in the mid twentieth century.
It is of extremely fine quality, with beautiful and profuse decorations throughout. It is mounted on a wooden base and has a brass plate at the top, with a bayonet bulb holder. We have paired this with a large and very beautiful vintage silk shade.
The condition is excellent for its age, with just some extremely minor surface wear. This has been re-wired and it is in good working order.
