Large Antique Leaded Glass Table Lamp by Wilkinson Co. B'klyn N.Y ca. 1910

About the Item

This high quality and colorful lamp by Wilkinson is a fine example of his workmanship. This dogwood floral border shade is pictured on the top of page 166 in the book Mosaic Shades Volume II, by Paul Crist. Our base is a different model as consumers were offered their choice of bases on most lamps. The shade has greens, blue, lavender, and other colors. The geometric green top is not typical of geometric lamps. It is more involved. The richly patinated base is as fine an example as Wilkinson ever made. Flowers add beauty to the art nouveau design. Every part is original. Base, shade, heat cap, and finial are all original. A large and exceptional leaded glass lamp that is over 100 years old and in fine condition.

Leaded Glass Floral Table Lamp by Lamb Bros., Napanee Indiana, ca. 1915
By Lamb Bros.
Located in Petaluma, CA
A very nice clean example of a leaded glass table lamp from the early part of the 20th century. The lamp was made by Lamb Bros. The ring on the top of the shade was done by Lamb Bros. The heat cap and finial are also the work of Lamb Bros. It's an antique leaded glass made famous by Tiffany. The floral shade is colorful and has just a couple, (I see just 2) that are closed and secure, not uncommon on these lamps. The condition is actually amazing as it has no broken tiles. The base is very art nouveau and a particularly nice example. A really nice antique lamp...
