About the Item
An adjustable modernist table lamp or desk light. Produced by the iconic Swedish lamp maker Böhlmarks, circa 1940. Design by Harald Notini.
Features a finely sculpted lacquered wood handle on a brass rod and base, brass screen.
Other designers of the period include Paavo Tynell, Lisa Johansson-Pape, Carl-Axel Acking, and Gunnar Asplund.

Harald Notini (1879-1959) son of the sculptor Axel Notini. Harald was trained as a sculptor, designer and interior architect. Notini, worked for Pukebergs glassworks and Böhlmarks lampmanufacturer throughout his career. At the age of 79 (1958) he still had his office and work duties at Böhlmarks. Notini is represented at MoMA in New York and Nationalmuseum in Stockholm.
