A French Art Deco Lamp by Edgar Brandt with Waterfall Sabino Shade
About the Item
A stunning and very rare French Art Deco table lamp in great condition. Collaboration of the two highly acclaimed French Artists in the pinnacle of the Art Deco Era. The glass shades known as the "Waterfall" were created in the 1930's by French Master "Marius Ernest SABINO" (1878-1961). Each shade is marked SABINO 4640 FRANCE depicting a cascade design in clear frosted glass with polished details. Supported by a wrought iron base by Edgar Brandt in a flower scroll deco design in its authentic black patina. A shown in the original patina. The lamp was rewired to U.S. standards, with one candelabra bulb, (each bulb 65 Watt max total). Plating in different finishes upon request.
