French 19th Century Louis XVI Style Patinated Bronze, Ormolu and Marble Lamp
About the Item
An elegant French 19th century Louis XVI st. patinated bronze, ormolu and Vert de Patricia marble lamp. The lamp is raised by fine topie shaped feet with a lovely berried laurel band. The Vert de Patricia circular base displays a beautiful fitted pierced foliate wrap around patinated bronze band below a fine stepped deign with foliate and beaded patinated bronze bands. The socle pedestal also displays foliate designs and is centered by an elegant coin. The Vert de Patricia marble body is encased within laurel leaves and displays beautiful maidens at each side. The handles are connected by impressive swaging floral garlands and a pierced foliate wrap around band. All Above the slender neck is a fine foliate top cap.
