Danish Art Nouveau MA&S Tall Ceramic Table Lamp Purple Beige Drip Glaze, 1920s
About the Item
Here is a tall ceramic table lamp from Michael Andersen & Søn (MA&S). It is in the Danish Art Nouveau style called "Skønvirke" with a drip glaze in purple, beige and blue colors. This glaze was developed by Daniel Folkmann Andersen who was the artistic leader of MA&S from 1905-1950s.
The lamp was manufactured in the period 1916-1930 as it has the MA&S backstamp which was used in this period.
Included is a new lamp shade designed in Denmark. It is made of woven fabric with some texture and it is natural white. It has a top cover so it will spread a cozy light downwards.

Height incl lamp shade: 73 cm (28.74")
Diameter lamp shade: 40 cm (15.75")
Height without socket: 41,2 cm (16.22")
Diameter base: 16 cm (6.30")
The lamp comes with an European plug.
Use light bulb for type E26/E27 Edison screw-fitting.
