1960s White Compact "Lampette" Telescopic Table - Desk Lamp by Eichhoff Germany

About the Item

The Koch Creations Lampette" telescopic lamp by EICHHOFF WERKE - Germany was designed in the early 1960s. A small lamp with a compact structure has a minimalist shape. The lamp has a minimalist and simple shape that refers to the aesthetics of German design, derived from the Bauhaus, whose philosophy was to design objects based on functionality. The housing and the cylinder-shaped diffuser are made of plastic. The plastic elements are connected by a thin telescopic arm made of chromed metal. The arm allows the height and angle of the lamp to be changed, as well as the upper part of the lamp to be rotated through 360 degrees, making the Lampette highly functional. Another advantage of the lamp is its compact shape: once the arm is fully folded up, the lamp takes up very little space. The lamp is in very good original condition, fully functional, a little dirt around the off / on buttons easily cleaned with a small brush. The lamp has three lighting position, On / Dim / Off. Takes a bandit base bulb, as shown in the photos. The flip out stand helps prevent it from being knocked over when fully extended. One can make it longer or shorter, horizontal or vertical, in short, adjustable in any position. The reflector can be rotated in any direction and throws the light beam were you want.
