Pair Of Signed Fine French Gilt Bronze Neoclassical Style Wall Sconces

About the Item

Exceptional Pair of fine electrified French Neoclassical style gilt bronze wall sconces with two well cast and ornate arms emitting from a central intricately chased bust with foliate headers and flowing beard.. The arms decorated with floral and foliate relief and fluted motifs. The mask is highly detailed and depicts a bearded new-classical figure wearing an acanthus leaf crown. The sconces are stamped LB 1187 on verso. Comes with wax candle covers. Dimensions: 15" W, 7 1/2" D and 14" H Condition: There is minor acceptable oxidation to gilt, overall good condition. Please see detail photos for condition.
